Vol. 124 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Superannuation Allowances.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will state whether any Minister or Parliamentary Secretary is in receipt of a superannuation allowance paid out of public moneys; and, if so, their names, the amount of the allowance, the service for which it was granted, the occasion on which it was granted, whether the allowance is or will be paid in addition to the present official remuneration of the Minister or Parliamentary Secretary concerned, the basis on which the superannuation has been calculated, whether any years have been added to the actual number of years served by the individual concerned, the date on which the individual obtained the post for which he draws the superannuation and whether his salary as a Minister or Parliamentary Secretary has been abated in respect of such superannuation.

The answer to the first part of the question is in the negative. The remainder of the question does not, therefore, arise.
