Vol. 124 No. 10

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Laoighis Lands.

asked the Minister for Lands if the Land Commission will consider the propriety of an early inspection of the Cox estate, Roskeen, Geashill, County Laoighis, and the Abraham estate, Kilcavan, Geashill, County Laoighis, with a view to acquisition and division amongst the many local deserving applicants, particularly as great congestion exists in the area.

As regards the Cox estate I cannot forecast what action the Land Commission will take. The Land Commission had inquiries made regarding the Abraham estate and decided to take no further action towards acquisition.
