Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Acquisition of Mayo Lands.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state the position regarding the acquisition of the farm of Mr. Martin Brennan, Cottage, Ballyhaunis, County Mayo, for the relief of congestion.

The Land Commission have obtained possession of this farm and a scheme for its allotment will, I hope, be sanctioned in time for operation this spring.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state the position regarding the acquisition of the farm of Mr. P. Reilly, Brownstown, Hollymount, County Mayo, for the relief of local congestion (Record No. S. 9833).

Proceedings have concluded in this case. Possession was taken on the 1st instant.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state the position regarding the acquisition of the farm of Margaret Walsh, Brownstown, Hollymount, County Mayo (Record No. 9988).

An objection to the acquisition of these lands has been disallowed, and negotiations as to price are in progress.
