Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Limerick Housing Needs.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state whether any survey has been made of the housing needs of the following villages in County Limerick and, if so, the result in each case: (1) Knockaderry, (2) Feenagh, (3) Kilmeedy, (4) Castlemahon, (5) Ballyagran and (6) Athlacca.

I understand that, with the exception of Athlacca, surveys of the housing needs of these villages were carried out by the Limerick County Council with the following results:—

(1) Knockaderry

3 new houses required

(2) Feenagh

(3) Kilmeedy

(4) Castlemahon

(5) Ballagran

No survey has yet been made of the housing needs of the Athlacca but it is understood that the council will carry out a survey of the needs of the area in the near future.
