asked the Minister for Defence whether any school or establishment at present exists for the training of instructors and personnel for the A.R.P. and civil defence services.

Premises have been obtained in Dublin for a civil defence school and the necessary works of adaptation and renovation are nearing completion. It is expected that a course for civil defence officers will commence next month.
