Vol. 124 No. 12

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business in the following order: Item 4 (Votes 30, 48, 49, 54, 67 and 68); items 10 and 8. We will then resume on No. 4 (Votes 27, 50, 51 and 41); items 5, 1, 2 and 3.

It is proposed that Government business be not interrupted at 9 o'clock for the taking of Private Deputies' business.

To-day I addressed Question No. 41 to the Minister for Finance in connection with the rates of pay of certain employees on the Brosna drainage scheme. I would ask the Chair favourably to consider my request that I might be permitted to raise the matter on the Adjournment.

Deputy Cogan has already given notice to raise the subject-matter of his question.

I gave notice to raise the subject-matter of Question No. 42.

I will consider the matter.
