Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - National Health Insurance Society Agents.

asked the Minister for Social Welfare if he will state what improvement he now proposes to make in the conditions of the established agents transferred to his Department from the National Health Insurance Society.

I am informed that the members of this grade have formed an association to look after their interests and have app lied for official recognition. The machinery for conciliation and arbitration in the Civil Service set up by the Government last year will be available to the association for the purpose of bringing forward any representations they may wish to make in regard to their conditions of service.
