Vol. 124 No. 13

Order of Business.

Business will be taken in the following order, as set out on the Order Paper: Nos. 4, 1, 2, 3 and 5. If the Dáil has no objection, it is proposed to bring forward and take, immediately after No. 5, the Court Officers Bill, which was ordered for 4th April.

Does the Minister intend to bring in any amendment on the Report Stage?

I thought that the Minister's predecessor said that he would favourably consider an amendment by Deputy O'Higgins.

I have considered it and I shall acquaint the House of the position.

Very well.

It is proposed that on the conclusion of business the House will adjourn until Wednesday, 4th April.

Deputy Cogan's question—Question No. 42 on yesterday's Order Paper—will be taken on the Adjournment. The other question has already been discussed on the Adjournment.

Deputy Dunne asked for permission to raise the subject-matter of the Private Notice Question on the Adjournment. Will the Chair consider his request or give a ruling on it?

I am not ruling on it. I want to find out definitely whether there is any responsibility.

Will the Ceann Comhairle give me permission to raise the subject-matter of Question No. 23 on the Adjournment at some future date?

We have heard about the Flannery case before.

You have not heard half of it yet.

You will have to withdraw it again. You will have to swallow it.

The Court Officers Bill will be taken if and when the other business concludes.
