asked the Minister for Finance if he will state the number of occasions during the year 1950-51 on which seizures were made by customs officials at the Six Counties Border and the nature, amount and value of goods seized.

The seizure accounts for the months of February and March, 1951, are not yet available and, consequently, it is not possible to furnish the required particulars for the year 1950-51. Particulars of seizures at the land frontier have been compiled as under for the year ended 31st January, 1951, as follows:—
