asked the Minister for Finance if he will state the total amount of excise duty collected during the year ended 31st March, 1951, on (i) beer; (ii) betting; (iii) entertainment; (iv) licences (bookmakers', dog, liquor and others); (v) matches; (vi) spirits; (vii) sugar and molasses, and (viii) tobacco.

As the answer to this question is in the form of a tabular statement, I propose, with the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, to have it circulated with the Official Report.
