asked the Minister for Finance if he will state the estimated loss of revenue from income-tax which would result from an increase of £60 in the present personal allowance.

By reference to the present standard rate of income-tax the loss of revenue which would result from an increase of £60 in both the single personal allowance and the married personal allowance is estimated at £2,530,000 for a full year.
