Vol. 125 No. 13

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Cargo for Ballina.

Mr. Browne

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he is aware that a shipment of sulphate of ammonia due to arrive at Ballina port has so far not arrived; that it may not be possible to secure a suitable boat for this port, and in that case early shipment by some other route is an immediate necessity; and, if so, what action he proposes to take in the matter.

Arrangements for the shipment of cargoes are entirely a matter for the commercial interests concerned. I have made inquiries and am informed that the firm concerned with this shipment is making the necessary arrangements.
