Vol. 126 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - District Hospital for Cahirciveen.

asked the Minister for Health whether all necessary arrangements have yet been made for the erection of a district hospital at Cahirciveen; and, if not, if he will state the cause of the delay.

asked the Minister for Health whether he is aware of the delay in making the necessary arrangements in regard to the erection of the new Cahirciveen hospital and whether he is in a position to make a definite announcement in the matter.

With your permission, a Chinn Chomhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 18 and 19 together.

The final contract documents for the building work which the local authority were asked, on the 26th February last, to submit have not yet been received. I understand, however, that the architect will furnish the documents in the very near future to the local authority for submission to my Department.

Revised proposals for the mechanical installations in the hospital were received in my Department on 13th June and are at present under examination. Observations on these proposals will be furnished to the local authority without delay.
