Vol. 126 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Cahirciveen Housing.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether he has yet given his sanction to the contract for the erection of 34 houses in Cahirciveen; and, if not, if he will state the cause of the delay.

Sanction to the acceptance by Kerry County Council of a tender for the erection of 34 houses in Cahirciveen issued to the council on the 19th instant.

The proposal for the acceptance of a tender was received in the Department on the 16th ultimo. As further information had later to be obtained from the county council, no undue delay arose in the issue of sanction.
