Vol. 126 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Jurors' Expenses.

asked the Minister for Justice if he will consider making provision for the payment of out-of-pocket expenses to jurors in County Wexford who have long distances to travel when called upon to act as such.

The question of recouping jurors their out-of-pocket expenses is under consideration.

Would the Minister give me an indication as to the length of the period of his consideration as this matter is of some urgency for the jurors of Wexford?

Mr. Boland

The matter is under consideration, but it will take some time.

Would the Minister indicate whether the matter is under consideration for the whole country?

Mr. Boland

The whole country, of course.
