Vol. 126 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dromina Housing Scheme.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he is in a position to state the cause of the delay in carrying out the proposed new housing scheme for Dromina village, County Cork.

Correspondence has been proceeding for some time between the Department and the local authority as to the interpretation of the tenders for the carrying out of this scheme, with a view to determining the tender which it would be most advantageous to the local authority to accept. A letter was received from the local authority yesterday asking for further consideration of their viewpoint. I am arranging that the proposal be reviewed in the Department, as requested, forthwith.
