Vol. 126 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - British Insignia on Letter Boxes.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will make arrangements to have the British insignia removed from letter boxes throughout the Republic.

Whenever opportunity occurs to recover such letter boxes for repair or other purpose the British insignia are removed before the boxes are reissued. Special measures for immediate removal of the insignia or replacement of the boxes would not be warranted.
