Vol. 126 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Kildare Sewerage Scheme.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he has yet sanctioned the plans for a sewerage scheme for Kildare town submitted by the Kildare County Council; and, if not, whether he will arrange to have the matter dealt with at once.

Revised plans for a sewerage scheme for Kildare received recently from Kildare County Council have been approved, subject to further examination by the council of certain aspects of the scheme.

Can the Minister say when those plans were approved? The county council was informed at their meeting last Monday week that they had not been approved.

I am sure I could get the Deputy that information in the supplementary matter which is supplied to me here, but I do not suppose it is of very great importance. I take it that the information I have given you is correct.
