Vol. 126 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Mitchelstown Sewerage Scheme.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he is aware that the Mitchelstown Co-operative Creameries are building an elaborate cheese factory which will rely on the town sewerage for its drainage; and, if so, if he will expedite the approval of plans and specifications for the carrying out of the scheme and state the grant he proposes to give.

I would refer the Deputy to the replay given on 1st May last to his question in regard to the Mitchelstown sewerage scheme. Plans and specifications have yet to be submitted by the sanitary authority. The amount of State assistance for the scheme will be considered when these documents and a firm estimate of cost are available.
