Vol. 126 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Glenville Primary School.

asked the Minister for Education when work on the new school at Glenville, County Cork, will be undertaken.

I understand from the Commissioners of Public Works that the preparation of the working drawings and the specification for the proposed new school is nearing completion. When the working drawings, etc., are completed the commissioners will be in a position to invite tenders for the proposed work.

I cannot say when the actual work on the erection of the new school will begin, but I can assure the Deputy that everything will be done to bring the case to the stage where tenders can be invited.
