asked the Minister for Local Government if he is aware of the need for the erection of a water tower in Nenagh, County Tipperary; and, if so, what steps he proposes to take in the matter.

The erection of a water tower in Nenagh is part of the scheme for the improvement of the town supply which is being undertaken by the sanitary authority. Revised contract documents for the scheme were received in the Department on the 6th instant and are being examined.
