Vol. 127 No. 5

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Dublin Bus Service.

asked the Minister for Local Government if, in view of the urgent need for a bus service at Redesdale and Kilmount, Stillorgan, he will grant a certificate of approval for the roads in private ownership on which it is proposed to run the service pending the acquisition by the Dublin County Council of the roads.

My approval to the use of roads by omnibuses under Section 119 of the Road Traffic Act, 1933, arises only in respect of public roads. I have no functions in regard to approval of the use of private roads by omnibuses.
