Vol. 127 No. 7

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business on the Order Paper in the following order: Nos. 5 and 6 (Vote 72). In accordance with the arrangement made between the Whips, the House will sit to-night until 11.30.

And to-morrow?

To-morrow from 10.30 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be no Private Members' time.

Will there be Private Members' time to-morrow?

No; that was agreed.

Mr. O'Higgins

I give notice that I desire to raise the subject-matters of Questions Nos. 1, 2 and 3 on to-day's Order Paper, on the Adjournment, in view of the unsatisfactory nature of the Taoiseach's reply.

I give notice that I desire to raise the subject-matter of Question No. 90 on to-day's Order Paper.

Last week I gave notice that I desired to raise the subject-matter of a question relevant to the reduction of the amount of grants to local authorities under the Local Authorities (Works) Act. Last week the Ceann Comhairle ruled that it was in order but somebody else got preference. I now give notice that I desire to renew that application.
