Vol. 128 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Kerry Forestry Scheme.

asked the Minister for Lands whether he is aware of the demand for the development of a forestry scheme at Killacloghane and Kilderry, Milltown. County Kerry; and, if so, whether he is prepared to sanction the carrying through of the scheme at an early date.

I must refer the Deputy to the reply given to a similar question asked by him on the 21st February, 1951. The position has not changed. Until such time as an adequate area to form the nucleus of a new centre is forthcoming there is no prospect of starting a forestry scheme in the Milltown area.
