Vol. 128 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - I.R.A. Pension Claims.

asked the Minister for Defence whether he is aware of the delay in having I.R.A. pension claims investigated by the Military service Pension Board, and if he is in a position to state when the board will visit County Kerry.

In view of the very careful examination which claims under the Military Service Pensions Acts require, I do not consider that there is any undue delay in the investigation of such claims.

The Referee and Advisory Committee and the Board of Assessors propose to visit Kerry again in the coming year, but I cannot say at this stage when exactly the visit will take place.
