asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will state the total number of farmers in County Meath who applied for grants under the land project, the number who accepted, and the number who have completed their schemes.

I would refer the Deputy to the reply which I gave on 22nt November to similar questions by Deputies Killilea and T.F. O'Higgins (Jun.). The number of applications from County Meath is 1,237

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will indicate how many acres of land cost £100 per acre to reclaim, and in what circumstances.

The first acre reclaimed under the special scheme for Connemara cost £100 approximately.
