Vol. 128 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Economic Conditions in Kerry.

asked the Taoiseach whether the Parliamentary Secretary to the Government has received proposals for the establishment of industries and general improvements in the economic and social conditions in County Kerry; and, if so, whether the inter-departmental committee has considered the proposals, and if he will indicate the precise projects which it is proposed to carry out during the current financial year in County Kerry.

Among the proposals I have received for the economic and social development of the Gaeltacht and congested areas are a number relating to County Kerry. I have these proposals under consideration at present, with the assistance of the committee to which the Deputy refers.

It is not yet possible to indicate, however, what precise proposals relating to County Kerry will be implemented during the current financial year.
