Vol. 128 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Water Supply for County Galway Town.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state the cause of the delay in providing a water supply scheme for Ballygar, County Galway; and when this very necessary work is likely to be completed.

Completion of Ballygar water supply scheme, which is being carried out by Galway County Council, is held up pending the installation of the pumping and filtration plant. I understand from the council that the greater part of the plant has been delivered to the site and that the remainder is at present awaiting clearance.
