Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Postal Facilities (County Mayo).

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will have a pillar-box erected at or near Ballygarris crossroads in the Hollymount postal area, County Mayo.

A letter box at Ballygarris crossroads, Hollymount, is warranted and arrangements will be made for its erection as soon as possible.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he will state when it is proposed to carry out reconstruction, alteration and improvement of the Post Office at Ballina, County Mayo.

Plans for the reconstruction of Ballina Post Office are at an advanced stage of preparation and it is expected that building operations will be commenced in the latter part of 1952.
