Vol. 129 No. 1

Written Answers. - Revenue from Shooting Rights.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state the annual amount received by the Land Commission from their leases and lettings of shooting rights and the annual amount expended by the commission on the protection and restocking of these shoots.

The particulars for the last shooting season are (a) gross revenue, £1,005 10s.; (b) expenditure on preservation, £23. In leases for a period of years the responsibility for protection and restocking usually devolves on the lessee.
