Vol. 129 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Mitchelstown Sewerage Scheme.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state whether plans and specifications for the Mitchelstown sewerage scheme have been presented to his Department by Cork County Council; and, if so, when he will be in a position to give approval for the scheme.

A layout plan and estimate of cost for a new disposal works for Mitchelstown sewerage scheme were received in my Department on the 14th of this month with an indication that the proposal was to be considered by the northern committee of the sanitary authority at a meeting to be held on that day. I am awaiting information as to the action taken in the matter at that meeting.
