Vol. 129 No. 2

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Reconstruction of Bridges.

asked the Minister for Local Government whether he is aware that, owing to the demolition of three bridges on the Inny River from Mastergeehy to Waterville, serious hardship and inconvenience is caused to the general public; and, if so, if he will take steps to sanction the necessary grant for the carrying through of the reconstruction of these bridges under the Local Authorities (Works) Act, 1949.

The proposals of the Kerry County Council in relation to the construction of new bridges over the River Inny are being approved subject to the preparation and submission of satisfactory designs for the structures.
