With the permission of the Ceann Comhairle, I propose to take Questions Nos. 55 and 56 together.

The information desired is not yet available, but if the Deputy will put the questions again in six weeks' time I hope to be in a position to furnish the particulars requested.

As the Deputy is no doubt aware, the information sought, without distinction of age or sex, is published quarterly in The Irish Trade Journal and Statistical Bulletin in respect of industries producing transportable goods. The further details asked for will not be available until the summarisation of the individual returns for the Census of Industrial Production for 1950 has been completed.
