Vol. 129 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Kildare Fever Hospital.

asked the Minister for Health whether he is aware of the fact that 50 people in County Kildare are awaiting admission to sanatoria, whether he has received a request from the Kildare County Council to permit the fever hospital in Kildare to be converted into a sanatorium for tubercular patients and whether he proposes to authorise the county council to use the fever hospital for this purpose.

I would refer the Deputy to my reply on the 13th of this month to a similar question by Deputy Sweetman. I have since conveyed to the Kildare County Council my approval of the proposal referred to.
