Committee on Finance. - Foyle Fisheries (No. 2) Bill, 1951—Money Resolutions.

I move:—

That it is expedient to authorise such payments out of moneys provided by the Oireachtas as are necessary to give effect to any Act of the present Session to authorise the making of a certain agreement with respect to fishing rights in the tidal waters of the Lough and River Foyle and its tributaries, to provide for the management, conservation, protection and improvement of the fisheries in the Foyle area, to establish a Foyle Fisheries Commission and to define its functions, to dissolve the Board of Conservators for the Moville district, and to provide for other matters (including the charging of fees on certain fishing licences) connected with the matters aforesaid.

Resolution agreed to.

I move:—

That there may be charged on licences or other documents issued or varied, by a body to be known as the Foyle Fisheries Commission, under regulations made by that body under statutory authority such fees, payable at such time and in such manner as the regulations may prescribe.
