Vol. 129 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Clady Frontier Post.

asked the Minister for Finance if he will arrange with the British Government a mutual agreement whereby the frontier post at Clady, County Donegal, may be reopened.

The answer is in the negative.

Is the Minister aware that it is the desire of a considerable number of farmers from East Donegal that the post at Clady should be reopened? Is he further aware that travellers travelling from West Donegal to the capital would save a considerable distance if that frontier post were reopened?

Some people believe that is true, but people cannot have everything they want.

Not when Mr. Butler says "No".
