Vol. 129 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Dublin Road Accidents.

asked the Minister for Justice if he will state the number of road accidents which have occurred in the County Borough of Dublin in the year 1951 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. and between the hours of 6 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Figures are not available for the County Borough of Dublin, but the following are the figures for the Dublin Metropolitan District:— (i) Between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. — 51 accidents; (ii) between 6 p.m. and 7 p.m. — 104 accidents.

I might mention that the metropolitan district corresponds roughly with the area of the county borough and the Borough of Dún Laoghaire but does not include Howth.
