asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will state the number of barrels of pedigree wheat imported in each of the years 1949, 1950, 1951, the country from which they were imported, and the amount in each case.

The available statistics of seed wheat imports do not differentiate between pedigree and nonpedigree seed. The following table shows total imports of seed wheat, by countries of origin, for the years mentioned:—
