Vol. 130 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Sanitation in Tralee School.

asked the Minister for Education if he is aware that there are only dry lavatories in Blennerville National School, Tralee, County Kerry, and that a new sewerage scheme was laid in this locality some five years ago by the Tralee Urban District Council; and, if so, if he will now state the reason for the delay in having a connection made to the school.

I am aware that there are only dry latrines at the Blennerville Boys' and Girls' National Schools, Tralee, County Kerry. The question of the provision of water closets at the schools, with the necessary connection to the public sewer, is receiving attention as a matter of urgency.
