Vol. 130 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Rents of Tuam Houses.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he has yet arrived at a decision concerning the differential rents proposed to be fixed in respect of the dwelling-houses recently completed by the local authority at Newtown Morris, Tuam; and, if so, the nature thereof.

The system of differential rents proposed by the local authority for this scheme has been approved with certain revisions and on the understanding that the minimum rent proposed will be subject to reduction in any cases of hardship which may come to notice when the system is in operation.

Would the Minister be good enough to indicate when he arrived at the decision?

I could not tell you, but it is not important.
