Vol. 132 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Limerick County Council Inquiry.

asked the Minister for Justice whether any investigation was made into the allegation of perjury contained in a petition transmitted to the Limerick County Council by the Minister for Local Government, and which petition alleged that evidence given on oath was "untrue and prejudiced and grounded on malice".

No allegation of perjury was contained in the petition referred to. It merely stated that the petitioner had obtained evidence which gave him grounds to doubt the truthfulness of evidence given at a sworn inquiry in 1948.

Is not that the same thing?
