asked the Minister for Defence if he will indicate when the Military Service Pensions Appeal Tribunal will sit in West Cork and where it will sit.

The Referee and Board of Assessors propose to hold sittings in West Cork at the earliest practicable date before the end of the year. The venues for sittings have not yet been determined.

Can the Minister give an indication when the applications from the Second Cork Brigade will be heard?

That is a separate question.

asked the Minister for Defence if he will indicate the number of new pensions now payable under the Military Service Pensions (Amendment) Act, 1949.

Since the resumption of the hearing of cases consequent on the enactment of the Military Service Pensions (Amendment) Act, 1949, 759 certificates have been issued to successful applicants up to and including 31st May, 1952.
