Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Wexford County Council Employees.

asked the Minister for Local Government if he will state the numbers employed by the Wexford County Council on 13th June, 1951, and 13th June, 1952, on (1) local authorities' works schemes; (2) road work, and (3) cottage building.

The numbers employed by Wexford County Council on schemes under the Local Authorities (Works) Act, and road work as supplied for the middle of the month of June, 1951, were 268 and 587 respectively, and the corresponding numbers employed on the 13th June, 1952, were 29 and 707. The numbers employed on cottage building on 13th June, 1951, and 13th June, 1952, were 43 and 50 respectively.
