Vol. 132 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Kerry Separating Station.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he will consider favourably the erection of a separating station at Dromartin Cross to facilitate the farmers in the parishes of Ballyduff, Causeway and Lixnaw who have 2,000 gallons of milk available for separation daily and who have to travel a minimum of four miles at present to the nearest creamery to dispose of their milk.

Mr. Walsh

Representations have been made to me very recently with a view to the provision of a cream-separating station in the Dromartin area of County Kerry, and I am having the matter investigated. I shall inform the Deputy in due course of the result of the investigations.
