Tourist Traffic Bill, 1951—from the Seanad.

The Dáil went into Committee to consider amendments from Seanad Éireann.
SECTION 5.

I move that the Committee agree with the Seanad in amendment No. 1:—

In sub-section (2), page 4, paragraph (d), all words after the word "agency", in line 12, to the end of the paragraph deleted, and the words "which has as one of its principal functions the development of tourist traffic;" substituted.

These two amendments are verbal amendments which were proposed in the Seanad and which I am accepting.

Question agreed to.

I move that the Committee agree with the Seanad in amendment No. 2:—

In sub-section (2), page 4, paragraph (f), the words "other places of particular interest" deleted, in lines 18 and 19, and the words "places of scenic, historic, scientific or other interest" substituted.

Question agreed to.

Agreement with Seanad amendments reported.

Ordered that the Seanad be informed accordingly.
