Vol. 133 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Repair of Untarred Roads.

asked the Minister for Local Government if the engineering section of his Department will adopt a more satisfactory and less expensive method of repairing untarred roads than by spreading over the surface loose river or pit gravel which does not set but becomes mud or dust according to weather changes, thus becoming a menace to road users and useless as repair material.

I would refer the Deputy to the reply given to a similar question asked by him on the 13th March, 1951.
