The bog to the north of Bonniconlon which is known to Bord na Móna as Gevlan bog is included in the programme of the board for development to supply turf to an electricity generating station in North Mayo. It is not possible, at this stage, to indicate when a detailed survey will be made or the development of the bog undertaken, but it is not likely to be soon.
