Vol. 133 No. 11

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Drainage of Owenea River.

asked the Minister for Finance if and when it is proposed to drain the Owenea river, County Donegal.

The question of carrying out a scheme under the Arterial Drainage Act, 1945 for the Owenea river catchment will be considered by the Commissioners of Public Works in due course. I can give no indication as to when such a scheme can be undertaken.

Can the Parliamentary Secretary state if this scheme will be undertaken?

I expect it will in due course.
