Vol. 133 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Letting of Lands.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will indicate the amount of the rents contracted to be received by the Land Commission in respect of lands in their possession and not allotted, let by them for the current year for (a) grazing purposes and (b) conacre tillage.

As I informed the Deputy on the 17th of this month, the returns of all the lettings are not yet to hand and consequently the required information is not available.

Can the Minister inform me on what precise date he expects returns to be available?

I cannot say.

Can the Minister say whether or not it is the practice in the Land Commission to make returns available?

Some of the land is let on monthly grazing or grazing per head.
