Vol. 133 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Overcrowding in Kildare School.

asked the Minister for Education whether he is aware of the present inadequate accommodation provided at Clogherincoe National School, County Kildare (Roll No. 15303), and if he will now state whether it is proposed to provide additional accommodation to relieve the present overcrowding and, if so, when.

I am aware of the overcrowding in the Clogherincoe National School, County Kildare. The question of the feasibility of extending the present school is being investigated as a matter of urgency. I cannot say when it may be possible to provide the additional accommodation required, but every effort will be made to expedite the case.
